Divide a sheet of paper into two columns. On one side, list all of your team members, direct reports, and or stakeholders. On the other side, list what makes each one of them tick. What do they care about most? If you don't know, go ask them. Inquire about their key work goals and what they do for fun.
Do one thing today you are afraid of. Decide upon that thing right now. Determine why, when, where, and how you will carry it out. Choose something that will move you forward in your work life but perhaps something you have been procrastinating on.
"We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender." - Winston Churchill
Reflection: Where in your life to do you need to just keep fighting?
Ask 3 people who know you well the following question: "What are my greatest strengths? What are the signature strengths that make me me?" A quick email or text to these folks will do. It doesn't need to be a long, drawn out conversation.
